REVIEW: Arsen by Mia Asher

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Love is infinite. There is no beginning and no end. There's no starting point and no finishing line. Love just is. Love is born, grows, matures, and sometimes it dies. But the memory will remain with you for the rest of your breathing hours. You will fall in love, you will fall out of love. But you will love again. You always do.”

Awwwww.
Crap.
Crap.
Crap.

This f*cking broke my heart.

I feel so broken.
I feel so betrayed.
I feel the pain. I feel the sorrow. I feel the heartache.

Arsen is the cause of all this emotional babble that I am currently sharing with you guys. It made me happy, it made me cry, it broke my heart, it ripped it apart, it smashed it to pieces and then mended it all back together.

Here's a short GIST on what this book is about.

Is love really enough to save a marriage?

Ben and Cathy have been together for 11 years. And 6 years of those years, they were married
Everything was perfect.
Cathy was perfect.
Ben was perfect.
Their love and passion for each other was just crazy.
They were the perfect example of

But then everything started to crumble when... Cathy had a miscarriage. Then another one... Then another... Cathy was going out of her mind and she feels that Ben was not feeling the same way she is. She feels alone. She feels betrayed. She feels suffocated with how much love Ben is still showering her even if she couldn't carry their child long enough for them to hold their baby in their arms.

Just when everything was turning upside down, Cathy meets Arsen.
Arsen.
He was your typical bad-boy womanizer. He has the face of an angel but a mouth of a devil. He will flirt with you. He will f*ck you. And then tomorrow, you are yesterday's news. He will do it again with someone else.
Even though Arsen was bad news, Cathy can't help but be drawn to him. She was like a moth that's drawn to fire, the fire that was Arsen.
She denied herself the fact that she was attracted to Arsen and that she liked the attention she was giving him.
To her, he was air. An air that she needed to continue breathing.

Cathy loses control after she loses her 4th baby.
She needed to forget.
She needed to let herself forget this pain.
She reached out.
She reached out not to her husband but to Arsen.
And things happened... Things that weren't supposed to.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

I've read tons of good reviews about it so I decided why not? I've never really been a fan of love-triangles, especially ones that involves cheating or adultery. I am not a big fan of cheating and lies and all that so I was so sure I was going to hate this book. Imagine my surprise when I liked it despite the topic. Despite the hatred that I had for Cathy.

I had to problems on the first few chapters. I actually kind of liked Cathy. I feel for her. But then when I got further through the story... I disliked her... A lot.

MEET THE CHARACTERS

Cathy

Cathy was a lucky, ungrateful b*tch. Seriously. What I wouldn't give to have a husband like hers and (view spoiler) I am very disappointed with her. She doesn't deserve Ben.

I understand where she was coming from. I really do. I am not that heartless not to understand her pain and suffering of not being able to keep a child in her womb but that doesn't really justify what she did.
Unfaithfulness.
Cheating.
Lying,
Those things are avoidable. There is never going to be an excuse good enough to rationalize what she has done. Even she knows that. She knew what she was doing but she just chose to ignore. She chose to ignore the one person who has been loyal, who has been faithful and who has loved her without hesitation. Her husband.

First few chapters, I just felt sad for her. I felt all of her pain. Then the next few chapters after that, I am starting to get annoyed. Pissed. Upset. Her train of thoughts were becoming disturbing. Her thoughts about Arsen was just disgusting. All the time I was like...

"WHAT ARE YOU THINKING CATHERINE!! WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT TO BEN?!" I wanted to b*tchslap her ass to the next dimension!

Ben

Oh Ben!
My poor Ben!!
This guy is the best husband ever. If every guy was like him, the whole world will be a damn perfect place.
My heart just felt for this man.
He didn't deserve all those hurt and pain that Cathy caused him.

What kind of person are you to cheat on a guy who worships you like a goddess and loves and accepts everything about you? Obviously, Cathy was one of those people who don't realize a good thing until its gone.

I loved Ben from start to finish. There was nothing to hate about this guy. Well except maybe that he fell for a no-good woman like Catherine.

Ben has been tempted. He was. He admitted it. But he never, not once, gave to it unlike Cathy. He loved Cathy too much. And she doesn't deserve that love or any part of Ben. Even on the backflashes, I already knew Cathy wasn't right for Ben. At first I thought she was, but then during that thing at Julian's place, I absolutely changed my mind. There are all sorts of wrong with Cathy. I want to count everything but it will take my whole review to enumerate all of them so lets just forget it.

Anyhow, back to Ben! He got hurt before by someone else. Then Cathy hurt him too. I guess nice people really get taken advantaged of. Maybe because they are so nice, other people think they could get away with it by saying sorry. (view spoiler)

Arsen

This is the guy who caused all this trouble.

Arsen, like Cathy, was not easy to love. But unlike Cathy, he had some redeeming qualities mid part of the book but then it all sort of fell down the drain again towards the end.

For me, he was just your typical bad-boy with family and previous love issues. (view spoiler)

What else can I say about this guy? Well he was good looking, no freakin doubt about that? He was every woman's fantasy: rich, tall, popular, good looking, and last but not the least a monster in bed. All though he was all these things, all I can say is...

Ben + Cathy + Arsen = A complicated love triange

I think one line each applies to all three of them. I am not going to say who its for though, you guys better read it. LOL.

Ben and Cathy. I really liked it when I read how they first met and how absolutely attracted they were to each other. It was really good. I think the flashbacks to the past was a pretty good touch to this story, it made me understand better what happened before and what was happening in the present.

Ben was a good husband and Cathy was a good wife too. They had great chemistry but everything changed when Cathy started losing their babies. It took a toll on her but that is no excuse to cheat. Crap. I'm going on and on again about the cheating part.

It was hard but why did she have to push Ben away? That is the confusing part for me. Why push the guy who wants to be with you and take care of you when you are experiencing hardship? What the hell was that Cathy?

Arsen and Cathy's relationship for me was all sex from the start. I got that feeling. (view spoiler)

I don't think there is any excuse for cheating. You'll see here how Cathy knew exactly what she was doing with Arsen. Her thoughts were clear as a crystal. She knew that she was hurting Ben. She knew and she doesn't care. And guess what? (view spoiler)

FINAL THOUGHTS

This book is one of those books you won't forget. Not only was the story different but also the characters were something you'll also remember. They were amazing characters. I loved Ben and I despised Cathy and Arsen. Well, I hated Cathy most of all because I think everything was her fault. LOL.

I think (view spoiler)

Nothing Last Forever by Maroon 5 kept on playing in my head while I was reading this. I mean it is a song I think Cathy will dedicate to Ben.

Everyday with every word whispered
We get more far away
The distance between us makes it so hard to stay
But nothing last forever but be honest, babe
It hurts but it may be the only way

I fell in love with this book when I was expecting not to. It  was just so real and raw and genuine. The story wasn't perfect. Everything didn't fall in to place quickly. The pace was slow at first which made me pull my hair a lot. I am not a fan of slow paced books but I'll have to make another exception for this one.

I liked the message of the book. Value the people who value you. Don't settle for someone who doesn't know what you're worth. Cathy learned that lesson the hard way but at least she learned. Everyone makes mistakes. The most important thing is to admit you were wrong and learn from it and also don't do it again. If you did it the second time, you are really screwed in the head. LOL.

Arsen? What about him? Well I just wish guys like him disappear from the surface of the earth.

My final, final words...

In the end, it is still Ben who took my heart away.

REVIEW: Breaking Nova (Nova, #1) by Jessica Sorensen

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

People say that time heals all wounds, and maybe they're right. But what if the wounds don't heal correctly, like when cuts leave behind nasty scars, or when broken bones mend together, but aren't as smooth anymore?

Sometimes bad things happen.
Sometimes it happens and there is nothing anyone can do about it.
Not even if we drown ourselves in alcohol or drugs or whatever things that we could think of to make us forget.
It won't happen.
Because life is like that.
Sometimes things happen that are beyond our knowledge and control.

Breaking Nova was about two people coping from a loss they didn't expect. It was about scars that doesn't seem to go away no matter how hard they try to forget.

Nova hasn't been the same since she found her boyfriend, Landon, dead in his room. Just when she thought everything in her life was perfect. Just when she thought things were finally in place, he left her. Permanently. And that messed up Nova pretty bad.

Then comes, Quinton. He lost his self the night the accident happen. He lost his one and only love that night their car crashed. He almost died that night too but someone he was given a second chance at life, a second chance he didn't really want. Now, Quiton is just a shadow of the person that he was back then.

After Reading Thoughts

I seriously had no clue it was going to be that intense.
I seriously had no idea it was going to make my heart hurt the way it did.

I loved this book. Althought it dealt a lot about drugs, death, pain, depression and all that, I still liked it. I loved the fact that it was so raw and real that I could feel the character's pain and sorrow.

This book was the darkest New Adult book I've read so far. I was a little bit uneasy with the whole drugs stuff because I'm scared of it and although I face tons of problems and trials, I would never ever consider drugs to dull the pain. But after reading this book, I sort of have a better understanding on why some people do it. I can't say I agree with their way of coping with pain but I have to say I understood better now.

First off, I would have to say I am extremely happy with how this book was written. I think it works really well that its a dual POV and how sometimes you'll get glimpses of the past so you'll understand a bit more of what is happening now and what has happened before.

I feel for Nova and Quinton. They have been through a lot and they deserve to be happy. They both blame each other for things they couldn't have avoided. They were the only two people who I really have sympathy for. The other ones like her friend Delilah and Dylan. They belong together and seriously, I didn't give a f*ck about what happened to them. It wasn't exactly made clear anyway what Delilah was running from and why she stayed with Dylan but whatever. I don't really care about them anyways.

Back to Nova and Quinton.

I sort of thought they didn't really click at first. I'm no longer talking about the depressed side of both of them but rather the romance part. Their relationship build up was actually a slow one and was a little worried that I won't like them but gradually, I felt their connection and how much they needed each other to heal.

She sucks in a sharp, stammering breath, then kisses me back like she's been trapping her breath for ages and suddenly I'm supplying her with oxygen.

I just hate that this is a cliffhanger. I wish it was a standalone instead so I'll know what happens to Nova and Quinton.
I can't believe I have to wait a couple of months more before the next one comes out.

Would I recommend this book to everyone? Not really. This book isn't for everyone. It was great don't get me wrong but all the drugs and suicide and all that here could be too much for some people so I guess I'll recommend it for those people who can as Nova and Quinton's story is definitely one that should be read. It is not your typical NA book that will have a bad boy and a good girl in it and the bad boy changes immediately. No. This one isn't like that *thank goodness*.

Let me end with a quote from Nova which I absolutely love and could relate to:

I'm learning that it's okay. It's okay to hurt. It's okay to cry. It's okay to admit we need help. It's okay to let go.

REVIEW: Twisted Perfection (Perfection, #1; Rosemary Beach, #3) by Abbi Glines

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

"I don't want to destroy you," she whispered.
"Losing you would be the only thing that could destroy me."

REACTION AFTER READING THE BOOK

I was so NOT disappointed with this book!
It made me so freakin happy.

I think the title sort of describes this book very well.
It was perfection. Not twisted. But just perfection.
Also it left me completely satisfied and happy.
Why?
Because there was no cursed cliffhanger (at least on the relationship part) that a lot of authors nowadays seem very fond of.
And mind you too much cliffhangers could be quite annoying.
Sometimes it causes the readers to not wanna read the third one if it goes on and on.
Anyhow, like I said, this book satisfied me.

THE GIST

Della has a past that made me scared to live life as she should.
She kept a secret that she knew would shatter anyone who would get too close.
But her good friend decides she needs to stop thinking about bad things and start to live.
She lent Della her car so that she could go and have a shot at life.

Woods has it all.
He belonged to a wealthy family. He had the money. He had the looks to take any girl he wants. He was intelligent.
It may seem that he has everything but there was one thing he doesn't have; the freedom to choose what he wants to do with his life.

Unexpectedly, Della and Woods met.
They chatted a bit. They flirted a bit. And they both enjoyed an unbelievably amazing one night stand.
Woods left.
Della left.
They thought that was the end of the story.
But no...
After a few months, fate decides to intervene, they met again.
Will they be able to recognize each other?
Will there be a chance for them to be together?
Or will they just choose to forget what happened that night?

LETS MEET THE CHARACTERS

Della

I loved her. I seriously adored Della. She had a tough past but she tried to cope. She tried to forget all about it and move on. She tried so hard to keep everything to herself but we all know at some point someone is bound to know. Someone is bound to find out. I feel sorry for her after knowing what really happened. I want to hug her and tell her that everything is going to be okay that she will not end up the same way because she definitely won't. She just needs to remember that. The only thing that annoyed me was that she kept on thinking no one will be able to love her. WRONG! That is so wrong. What is it with girls and thinking no one will love them because of their past? It is just not true. Prince Charming is still out there and in Della's case.. It was Woods.

Woods

Oh sweet heavens! You just made me forget all about Rush. :) And mind you I'm not complaining. I already knew that Woods was a sweetheart when I read Fallen too Far. I knew there was something in him and I was so freakin' right. He was more than the amount of money he has. He was more than the goodlooks and the incredible body that he has. He was sweet, loving and a very passionate guy. I just couldn't find the words to explain how much I loved Woods. And honestly, I never once thought about Rush. Woods has always been dictated what to do and what to want but when what he really wants for himself came along he wasn't going to let that go. He was smart enough to go after what he needs and wants.

Tripp

Tripp is such a sweetheart. Okay so I thought at first he was going to be a problem but hey he is such a decent guy that even if he did come between Woods and Della, I wouldn't really mind. Tripp is a great friend and thought that he should deserve his own story too.

Braden and Kent

I seriously love them. Braden is such a good friend to Della and she should be forever grateful. Kent was just showed a couple of times but I still appreciate the support that he gave to his wife and Della.

WOODS + DELLA= THE HEAT IS ON

These two can't seem to get enough of each other. They want to touch each other as much as they could!
Alright I often don't like books with too much sex in it but this book is apparently another exception.

Woods was exactly what Della needed. He became her shield or her wall where she can rest her weary head at night to so that she wouldn't have those bad dreams.

And Woods doesn't disappoint Della, he actually made himself into someone who Della could always go to and trust. Its like he became an entirely different person. He is willing to give up everything that he owns, that he grow up with to be with Della. What more can you ask for?

These two has such good chemistry that I didn't feel with Blaire and Rush. Of course I loved them too but with Woods and Della it was different. It was just so much more. But again, too much sex. But I'm not complaining.

<

Oh did I forget to mention that Woods is an absolute darling here.

FINAL WORDS

I loved it.
I adored it.
I wanna reread it again and then read the next one.
I really wish the second book will be as good as the first one as I don't want Woods and Della's story to be upsetting.
I want them to have their happy ending as they deserve to be happy.
Woods deserve to make a choice for himself and Della deserves to see that life is not all black and whites, there are also in betweens.
I loved loved loved it.
It won't make your heart hurt because of a stupid cliffhanger so I guess that's a good example isn't it?
Final note on this one, yeah it was a bit predictable sometimes but what really annoys me as hell was the father. He is really a super EVIL! Tsk tsk. And I think he got what he deserves in the end. Bwahahaha.

Soo.. I really loved this book. I am really wait for the next one because I think there is soemthing more out there that needed to be addressed and figured out. Although its not a major cliffhanger but still, it will start the next book.

I'll be sharing one of my favorite lines from this book:

"I was his future. He was mine. If I had a life with Woods to look forward to I knew I could fight whatever darkness that tried to take me. Before Woods I didn't know what I was living for. In my search to find myself, I'd found so much more. I knew now why I wanted to live. I understood love. I had found it."

And because I totally loved it, I'd give it:

REVIEW: Unlikely To Fall In Love (Unlikely, #1) by Debie Esmeralda

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

And I just broke my rule of no holding stares with the one I'm having sex with because for me staring while having sex was way too intimate and reserve only for real lovers. It is like connecting not only your body but also your soul. But Damon is an exception. He is always the exception to every rule I had. With him I tended to break all boundaries and let him in.

Firstly, I would also like to thank the author for allowing me to get this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

MY REACTION AFTER READING THE BOOK

I seriously want to cry with happiness!

I want to give this book a big round of applause as it really deserve it. Honestly, I didn't really expect to like it so much.

It has the right mix of everything.
I loved the pace. I'm usually the one who hates slow paced stories but I will have to say that with this one it fits perfectly.
The story was simple but it will pull your heartstrings.
It won't make you cry buckets of tears but after reading this book it will make you feel hopeful.
Hopeful that someday, no matter how wrong things are at the present, will always end up on a happy note.

Here is the GIST

Amanda Sparks had to take two jobs to get her twin brother to medical school.
She was a waitress in the morning and at night she gets paid to pleasure men.
She wasn't expecting her life to change when she met the handsome billionaire Damon Rhodes.

Damon Rhodes was every woman's fantasy.
Not only was he rich, educated and a perfect gentleman he was also unbelievably goodlooking.
What more can you ask for?
He was the perfect catch.

Damon offers Amanda a new job.
That she will accompany him wherever he need to go and in return he will pay her.
Amanda grabbed the opportunity as she desperately needed the money.

As they spent more time together, she started to feel something she wasn't suppose to.
She knew that she doesn't belong in Damon's world no matter how hard she tries.
Damon wants Amanda and would stop at nothing to get her no matter how much she pushes him away.

But can love really overcome all obstacles?
Is love really enough for two different people to be together?

FIRST IMPRESSION

I have to be really honest.
I didn't really expect that I would fall in love with this book.
Usually, I judge books by its covers.
I know. I know. You're not supposed to do that but I do. It's a bad habit of  mine and I am planning to change that stupid habit.
And when I was asked to review this book, I immediately said yes.
Well not because I didn't like the cover but because I found the blurb here in goodreads good and its something I knew I'd read and really want to give it a try even if I wasn't really a fan of the cover.
But mind you, the content was so much more.
For those of you who does the bad thing about judging the book by its cover, stop!
You'll miss out amazing books like this one.

MEET THE CHARACTERS

Amanda

She's tall, blonde, pretty and very good in baking. I liked Amanda really. She takes good care of her twin. Although in my opinion it should be the other way around. He should be the one doing all the work and not her but it did get explained in the book why she did it instead of her brother. It's not hard to love Amanda. She was strong and helpful and kind. I felt sad that she had to do what she does though. She didn't deserve that and I think that's one of the reasons I think she's special. I didn't like her though when she kept on denying to herself that she still could be loved. She kept on telling herself that no one will ever love her because of the job that she's doing but she's wrong. She's so wrong. Everyone deserves a chance to be loved.

Damon

*PS: I still think Ian Sommerhalder would be perfect for Damon. Again. :p*

Damon. Well. What is there to say about this guy? He's perfection. He was understanding. He is everything a girl could ever ask for. He was sweet. He was thoughtful. Well at first I thought he was going to be hard but then he totally won me over the more I got to see him. Damon. Damon. Damon. Where art my Damon? I want my Damon too!! Geezz.. Like I said, what is it with guys with the name of Damon??? Why do they all have to be so hot?! I want mine!! Kidding aside, I loved Damon. Like Amanda, he wasn't hard to love. His character was also flawed. He gets jealous. He was stubborn but damn he is just a total sweetheart.

Trey Lockhart

Turn this guy blonde and he is your Trey Lockhart! :)
Who's Trey? No he's not the brother. Amanda's brother's name is Aiden.
So are you guys curious who this handsome devil is?
Well he's just a son of a senator.
Oh and before I forget he's also a movie star!!
Amanda is just one lucky girl isn't she? :p
I won't tell you what Trey's role is going to be because it will be too much of a spoiler but like the two, he is just too easy to love.
I loved Trey and I hope the next book would be about him.

AMANDA + DAMON = A FAIRYTALE COME TRUE

Seriously. What happened to Amanda is a dream come true for every girl.
Every girl deserves to be happy.
It doesn't matter if you're a hooker or you're an innocent virgin.
Every girl deserves to be showered with love and treated with respect.
And Damon right here is the perfect example of how a man should treat a woman, never judging the girl based on the mistakes she did before.
Likewise, it is the same for the girls.
You can't just someone based on their past.
That's why its called past because it was all behind them and you.
All I could say is that Amanda and Damon fit together like two pieces from different puzzles. It doesn't matter how different it was, they still fit together.

HIGHLIGHTS

- i'm impressed with the pacing of the story. it wasn't too fast nor was it too slow. usually i get impatient with this kind of storytelling but it all worked for me. kudos to that! ^__^

- the characters were all well developed. i loved how amanda did not immediately jump into a relationship with damon. i would have but of course that's just me. i wanted to strangle her but hey I guess its part of the cham of the book.

- i love the addition of Trey. ^_^

- it was a HEA story. i love it when books end when they should end. i hate it when some extend it and ends up ruining the whole story for me.

- usually NA books have very mature scenes in it but on here, it wasn't really as graphic which was a good thing for me.

- oh last but not the least, she's a Filipino too!! I am so proud of her and makes me want to continue my writing too! she's an inspiration

FINAL WORDS

I am seriously thankful for the opportunity that was given to me by the author to read and review this book! I had a great time knowing the characters and their story. I will drop a spoiler though and say that this story is a HEA but don't we all love HEA? I know I do.

The good thing about this story is how it tells the story of two different people finding love. It doesn't matter what status you belong to in life, when love comes knocking, you would know it and it will hit you before you could even duck and hide.

I highly recommend it. I think my only concern with this book is the cover. I wasn't really a fan of it but all in all it was a good book! I loved reading every minute of it.

REVIEW: Fall Guy by Liz Reinhardt

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

*WARNING: This review might be more focused on HOT, STEAMY, DROOL-WORTHY Winch (if not the whole the review).

Evan Lennox met Winchester Youngblood just outside the courtroom on the day when they will both get sentenced for their wrong doings.
*Evan’s case was due to Unintentional Arson and Trespassing (which was really because of a very stupid reason) and Winch was because of drunk driving.*
They both get sentenced with community service.
Just when Evan though he would meet the hot blue-eyed guy again, she meets him at the site of her first community service assignment.
Evan was attracted to the hot-cold mysterious Winch.
No matter how hard she tried, she can’t get him out of his head. (But who wouldn’t? seriously?)
She made tons of assumptions as to why Winch doesn’t seem interested but nothing. She just couldn’t get him.
But what Evan doesn’t know was Winch actually was feeling the same way although there are certain factors in Winch’s life that is making him hold back.
The closer they get to each other, the more they couldn’t stay away from each other.
Slowly, the wall that Winch built around himself was slowly crumbling down. Evan wanted to know what it was that was holding Winch back.
When Winch finally laid all his cards on the table, Evan understood.
He was the fall guy. He was always the backup guy of their family. She knew she would never be the one he chooses.
But then again, Winch proved her wrong.

I seriously went BANANAS over this book!

I have read tons of books regarding forbidden love, but it was nothing like this. It was a rollercoaster of emotion and I loved every minute of it.

I want (if I could) personally hug and kiss Liz Reinhardt for making such a wonderful book. It literally took my breath away too much I couldn’t count it anymore.

Unlike The Secret of Ella and Micha (which I also love to death) the story of this book was a little more complicated. It dealt with choices. It dealt with choosing what you have to do, what you are expected and what you want to do. Will you choose what you want over your family? Will you choose the hard path but will make you happy or choose the easier path even though you know it will make you miserable?

Honestly, I didn’t really care much about Evan. It was a good thing that the POVs were alternating because if not I wouldn’t have finished this book. I liked Evan but there was a point that I felt that she has no sense of self-preservation. She was the go-getter type of girl. If she wants it, she goes and gets it even if eventually she’ll get hurt. But that was one of the things I admired about her. It’s kind of ironic though. The bad thing I noticed about her is the same thing I liked.

I want to dwell more on Winch! (my dream guy!)
Hot, gorgeous and extremely enticing DELICIOUS, EDIBLE, SEDUCTIVE, TEMPTING Winch!
I am seriously addicted to him.
I kind of imagined he would look somewhat like this guy but with that sexy Hungarian accent:

Totally drool-worthy right?

Okay he’s drool-worthy totally the kind of guy I’d love to bang me so what next? He’s a lot more than just a pretty face. He was the type of guy you could really count on. I mean he wouldn’t be his family’s fall guy if he wasn’t right? This guy gave up on a lot of things for his family. He gave up half of his life for them who never gave a shit about him. He was the fix guy. He fixes his stupid older brother Remy’s screw-ups which I think was just really really wrong. I hated them for that. I was absolutely furious with his family all throughout the book. They were crappy parents.

I was SO ANGRY! They were supposed to let Remy fix his own issues. He made some very STUPID mistakes and he should be the one to pay for it, not anyone else. That family was just seriously fucked up.   I WANTED TO PUNCH SOMEONE IN THE FACE!

EVAN + WINCH= HOT, SWEATY, DRAMATIC LOVIN’

I was surprised on how graphic all those hot scenes were and I enjoyed devoured every minute of it. There was just so much passion between the two of them.

There were a lot of sexy time but when the serious stuff was up, it was SERIOUSLY emotional. Even when they were doing their thing, you’ll see that there was still drama going on in their heads. It was just
amazing. I loved hearing the alternating POV’s of these two but I mostly like hearing WINCH. Hey, it’s not being biased but I loved his POV because you’ll get to hear him as who he really is behind all that fa├žade that he has on.

The ending was bitter sweet for me but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world. It was the perfect ending for me. Winch made the right decision with the help of Evan of course. I will end this review with a little spoiler. It is in Winch’s POV and it really touched me in so many ways it almost made me cry.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! *for readers of New Adult books*
